CCI (Canadian Condominium Institute) Vancouver has an exciting schedule of seminars over the fall and winter months. There will be a mixture of Saturday morning seminars and evening seminars.

The next event is a Saturday morning seminar at the Accent Inn on Boundary and Henning, one block South of Lougheed. There is plenty of free parking and it is a one block walk from the Gilmore skytrain station.

Three topics will be covered in a fast paced morning presentation. The new composting regulations which will affect ALL strata's in the Lower Mainland will be explained. The regulations come into effect in 2015 and we know there is lots of confusion about how the program will work. This presentation will answer your questions and give you some helpful tips.

Many strata corporations have their AGM's over the fall and winter. You will learn the rules around budgeting (the Act) and some useful tips on making it easier for owners to understand the budget process. With many strata's having their depreciation reports completed; how the DR is incorporated into the budget process will be explained. This will be an interactive presentation and you and your colleagues will work together to unravel the mysteries of budgeting.

Always popular are the legal updates. Our esteemed legal panel will bring you up to date on recent court decisions and how they may affect your strata.
