There is an upcoming strata educational opportunity on Saturday, May 31, 2014 brought to strata council members and owners by CCI Vancouver.

It will be a lively interactive presentation of the do's and don'ts of proxies and voting at strata AGMs presented by two lawyers who regularly advise strata councils, strata owners and strata managers on a broad range of strata law issues.

Paul Mendes, Lesperance Mendes Lawyers
Paul is the chairperson of the firm's strata law group. He is a much sought after speaker recognized for his unique style of presentation. Paul will lead the discussion on proxy fights at strata general meetings.

Phil Dougan, Access Law Group
Phil believes being a good lawyer means being alive to the way the law impacts the way we live and conduct our business. One way a strata conducts business is by holding general meetings. Phil delights in sharing his knowledge with a slight bent to the humourous side.
