A New Strata Educational Course for Strata Council Members Offered by CCI Vancouver through VCC

Strata 101 is a new course that The Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI Vancouver Chapter) has designed to help strata council members learn all they need to know as representatives of their strata corporations. This course is offered by CCI Vancouver through Vancouver Community College at the downtown campus during 8 evenings (6:00 to 9:00 pm) on Thursdays from May 1 to June 19, 2014.

It provides information on the duties, obligations and procedures that all strata council members or those who would like to join the council should know. Topics include legal elements of stratas, discerning various responsibilities of stratas, administration, finance, insurance, and procedures of strata corporation meetings.
